Flyer for the Kashmir Klub Reunion gig
The Kashmir Klub meant a huge amount to me when I was in my late teens. Seeing it as a kind of safe havenlike birthplace of creativity, I went every week and played as often as they’d have me. As one of the few London (perhaps anywhereish) venues that, instead of taking money at the door, requested in a heartfelt but polite manner that the audiences should ‘pay attention’, the Kashmir Klub garnered a devoted following and had a variegated, glittering roster of artists. I felt very humbled to be among them (not so much glittering, you understand, as learning) and I am really excited that the Kashmir is coming back for one night only.
It will be positively unmissable
